Conclusion of the External Review Team’s Visit for the Accreditation of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities<\/h3>\n

Today, January 7, 2025, the external review team tasked with the institutional accreditation of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at Sana’a University concluded its four-day field visit. During this period, the team engaged in multiple sessions and meetings with the Faculty’s leadership, academic and administrative staff, as well as students, alumni, and employers.<\/h3>\n

The review team, representing the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education, was led by Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Haifi and included notable members such as Prof. Nouman Fayrouz, Prof. Mohammad Al-Khalidi, and Prof. Hisham Al-Mikhlafi.<\/h3>\n

The final meeting took place in Al-Akwa Hall, attended by Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Shaibi, Vice Rector of the Academic Accreditation Council, along with team members, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Abdulmalik Mohammad Eissa, his Vices, department heads, faculty members, and various administrative staff.<\/h3>\n

During this concluding session, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Haifi presented an overview of the Faculty’s key strengths and weaknesses, along with the team\u2019s expectations for future development. He emphasized the significance of both institutional and programmatic accreditation for the Faculties within Sana’a University [the foremost university in Yemen] and highlighted how such accreditation contributes to the university’s advancement in regional and international rankings. Furthermore, he acknowledged the technical support provided to the team prior to and during their visit.<\/h3>\n

The review process commenced on Saturday with the team conducting sessions focused on each of the nine accreditation criteria. They met with current students, alumni, faculty members, and employers while also touring the Faculty\u2019s facilities and various departments alongside the Dean, his Vices, and the Faculty Secretary. In closing remarks, Dean Prof. Abdulmalik Mohammad Eissa expressed gratitude to the external accreditation committee and commended the Faculty’s commitment to addressing the recommendations proposed by Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Shaibi during the concluding session<\/h3>\n
