Mr. Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mahdi has been awarded the MA Degree with a commendable grade of 95% and an outstanding evaluation, accompanied by a recommendation for publication and dissemination within academic institutions majoring in Islamic Thought from the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Arts & Humanities – Sana’a University. His thesis , entitled “The Role of Qur’anic Culture in Limiting American Interventions in Yemen: An Authentic Analytical Study,” was defended on Wednesday, the 5th of Ramadan 1446 Hijri, corresponding to March 5, 2025.<\/h3>\n

The Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:
\n1. Prof. Bushra Ali Yahya Al-Imad, Internal Examiner, Sana’a University, Chair.
\n2. Mohammed Yahya Mohammed Al-Makhdi, Main Supervisor, Sana’a University, Member.
\n3. Ali Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ashmouri, External Examiner, Amran University, Member.<\/h3>\n

The primary objective of the thesis was to highlight the neglect experienced by the Islamic nation due to a systematic deviation from the Quranic approach in both behavior and practice, while also exposing the interventions executed by the United States in Yemen.<\/h3>\n

In his research, the researcher arrived at several significant conclusions, notably emphasizing the critical importance of Quranic culture due to its intrinsic connection to the Holy Book of God, which encompasses all facets of life. As articulated in the Quran, “We have neglected nothing in the Book,” this culture serves to illuminate both direct and indirect American interventions in Yemen. The project centered on Quranic culture has demonstrated considerable efficacy in altering entrenched perceptions among Muslim populations, particularly regarding the culture of submission and acquiescence. Furthermore, it posits that Quranic culture in Yemen is universal\u2014applicable across all times and places\u2014serving as a divine initiative bestowed by God to guide human conduct and interactions, even towards adversaries such as Jews and Christians. The researcher asserts that such guidance equips individuals to confront these adversaries successfully, as encapsulated in the verse: “And whoever takes God and His Messenger and those who believe as allies, then indeed, the party of God will be the victorious.”<\/h3>\n

The thesis concluded with several recommendations, which are summarized as follows:
\n1. Redrafting the constitution in alignment with Quranic methodology.
\n2. Implementing workshops and introductory programs to elucidate the role of Quranic culture in Yemen’s transformative processes through comparative studies.
\n3. Embracing Quranic methodology in fostering political and social awareness, developing military doctrine, shaping aspirations, formulating media discourse, and enhancing scientific research methodologies.<\/h3>\n

The Viva-Voce was attended by several academics, researchers, students, and several colleagues and family members of the researcher.<\/h3>\n
