Prof. Mutie Mohammed Shabalah <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"138\">\n<h3>Internal Examiner<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"141\">\n<h3>Sana\u2019a University<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"70\">\n<h3>Member<\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>This study aimed to:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Introduce Al-Fadil al-Yamani, highlighting his scholarly personality and standing in the field.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Present his annotation &#8220;<strong><em>Durar Al-Asdaf fi Hall &#8216;Uqad Al-Kashshaf<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; in a scholarly edition adhering to established textual criticism methodologies.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The study reached several key findings, including:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Al-Fadil al-Yamani was not merely a narrator of knowledge; rather, he integrated the narration from predecessors with his own preferred opinions, objections, revisions, additions\/corrections, and scholarly refutations, demonstrating his significant interpretive and linguistic expertise.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>The annotation &#8220;<strong><em>Durar Al-Asdaf<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; clarifies and interprets ambiguities, complexities, and issues found in the Tafsir of Al-Kashshaf.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The study recommends<\/strong> the following:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>The additions\/corrections of Al-Fadil Al-Yamani on Al-Kashshaf should be compiled and studied.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>The creedal and jurisprudential matters presented by Al-Fadil in his annotation should be examined.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Encouraging researchers to focus on the manuscripts of Al-Fadil Al-Yamani and work towards their critical edition and study.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The PhD dissertation was examined and recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The Candidate was recommended to be awarded the degree of <strong>PhD <\/strong>in <strong>Tafsir (Quranic exegesis)<\/strong>. The defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, interested individuals, as well as the candidate\u2019s colleagues and family members.<\/h3>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\"
