Ms. Ibtisam Musleh Hasan Hussein Al-Basarah <\/strong>was awarded a Master’s degree in sociology with a grade of (Excellent<\/strong>) and an average of (92%<\/strong>) for her thesis titled “Yemeni Working Woman and the Conflict of Social Roles: An Approach to the Transformation of Women\u2019s Roles in the Capital Secretariat (Sana\u2019a)<\/strong>“, which was submitted to Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts and Humanities – Sana’a University. The defense was held on Sunday, August 10, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The thesis aimed to<\/strong> study the social role conflict experienced by Yemeni working women, its impact on them, their families, and society, and to identify the social, political, economic, cultural, and legal transformations that have contributed to the changing role of women in Yemeni society.<\/p>\n
