Mr. Abdullah Hussein Hussein Mejaar <\/strong>was awarded a Master’s degree in Quranic Exegesis (Tafseer) with an average of (Excellent<\/strong>) and a grade of (92%<\/strong>) for his thesis titled ” Al-Jawhar Al-Shaffaf Al-Multaqat Min Maghasat Al-Kashshaf<\/em><\/strong>,” authored by Al-lama Abdullah bin Al-Hadi bin Al-Imam Yahya bin Hamza (d. 793 <\/strong>Hijri) \u2013 From the beginning of Surah Al-Zukhruf to the end of Surah Al-Hadid: A Study and Investigation<\/strong>,” which was submitted to Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Arts and Humanities – Sana’a University. The defense was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025<\/strong>, corresponding to Rabi\u2019 al-Akhir 15, 1447 <\/strong>Hijri.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following members:<\/h3>\n

    Hassan Nasser Ahmed Sarar<\/strong>, External Examiner.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The thesis aimed to:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Study and highlight the role of the scholar Abdullah bin Al-Hadi bin Al-Imam Yahya bin Hamza among the scholars of Yemen.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Analyze the manuscript with scientific precision to benefit researchers, readers, specialists, and students of knowledge.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      Focus on the new merits of this manuscript revealed through the research, which is considered a valuable addition to the field of Quranic exegesis (Tafseer) and Islamic libraries.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The thesis <\/strong>concluded with several important findings<\/strong>, including:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Al-Zamakhshari was a venerable scholar who amazed the nation’s scholars with his rhetorical, eloquent, exegetical, and linguistic skills.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n

        The book ‘Al-Kashshaf<\/em>‘ is one of the most widely circulated books in the Islamic world across various schools of thought and sects.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n

        The scholar Abdullah bin Al-Hadi made a significant contribution to the Islamic scientific library through a rich exegetical work that includes comparative jurisprudence (Fiqh), serving as an indispensable reference for scholars and intellectuals.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The thesis concluded with a number of recommendations, most notably:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • \n

          Encouraging researchers, students, and manuscript editors to benefit from Yemen’s treasures of valuable manuscripts.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
        • \n

          A call for Sana’a University and other academic centers to print, publish, and distribute such scientific encyclopedias.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
        • \n

          Urging researchers to communicate with relevant official bodies to facilitate procedures for those wishing to undertake manuscript verification projects.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
        • \n

          A recommendation for all researchers, scholars, and academics to abandon blind fanaticism towards any ideology, school of thought, or sect.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The thesis<\/strong> was examined and recommended by the MA Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance<\/strong> and approval<\/strong>. The defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, interested individuals, in addition to the candidate\u2019s colleagues and family members.<\/h3>\n
