Sana’a \u2013 Saturday, December 13, 2025<\/h3>\n

First-year Social Work students today, Saturday, conducted a field visit to the Social Guidance Home for Boys in the Capital Secretariat (Sana’a). This visit is part of the department’s program of field trips aimed at linking theoretical knowledge with practical application in social care institutions.
\nThe visit sought to familiarize students with the nature of the Home’s operations and the mechanisms by which it performs its duties. Students were briefed on its various departments and facilities, learned about the services provided to juvenile delinquents, and the eligibility requirements for these services. Furthermore, they were introduced to the professional role undertaken by the social worker in the care, qualification, and reintegration of juveniles into society.
\nThe visit also included a review of the regulations, systems, and records that govern workflow within the Home, as well as the professional mechanisms for handling various cases, in accordance with the established standards in social care institutions.<\/h3>\n

The visit was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Majed Al-Humaidi, Second Level Supervisor. Explanations were provided by Mr. Mohammed Al-Arafi, the Home’s Director, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabri, the Social Worker, with the attendance of the Deputy Director. They introduced the students to the Home’s sections, their functions, and the services offered.
\nThis field trip is part of Sana’a University’s efforts to academically and professionally prepare Social Work students to enable them to perform their societal role efficiently and competently.<\/h3>\n
