The Department of History and International Relations at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana\u2019a University, held a defense session today for senior students\u2019 graduation projects. The session took place at the French Building (Hall 2), attended by the Head of Department and several distinguished faculty members.
\nThis year\u2019s discussions featured a series of critical research papers focused on the Palestinian cause from diverse historical and conceptual perspectives. Under the supervision of Dr. Huda Al-Waisi, students presented their findings as follows:
\n\u2022 Zaid Mohammed Ali Al-Thulaya: Examined the Palestinian cause from 1948 to 2002.
\n\u2022 Hajar Hussein Ali Al-Hadri: Explored the history of Palestine through ancient and contemporary lenses.
\n\u2022 Asma Mohsen Sufyan Wajihaldeen: Analyzed the developments of the Palestinian cause from 1900 to 2023.
\n\u2022 Ghufran Saleh Al-Wajman: Investigated the centrality of the Palestinian cause within the “Quranic Path” project.
\nDuring the defense, students outlined their research objectives, significance, and the theoretical and conceptual frameworks adopted. The discussions also delved into the methodologies, hypotheses, and analytical tools utilized, fostering a high-level scholarly dialogue between the students and the examination committee.
\nProf. Abdulhakeem Al-Hijri, Head of the Department, emphasized that these sessions are vital for honing students’ scientific research skills and deepening their awareness of contemporary historical and political issues. He commended the students for their academic efforts and the high caliber of their research.<\/h3>\n
