SANA\u2019A \u2013 Monday, August 24, 2026<\/h3>\n

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, Sana’a University Rector, the Department of Library and Information Science and the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities hosted a celebratory event today, Monday, on the occasion of the Prophet\u2019s Birthday (Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi). The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Sukeina Hashem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service, alongside several faculty members, the Faculty Registrar, the Director of Systems Management, a number of female staff members, and female students from both departments.
\nThe event was held to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon Him) and to recall the faith-based, moral, and humanitarian values of the occasion. It aimed to foster awareness of the importance of following his noble biography (Seerah) and the sublime principles it embodies regarding ethics, knowledge, cooperation, and community service.
\nThe event featured several religious, cultural, and vocal performance (Inshad) segments presented with student participation. These segments highlighted aspects of the Prophet’s noble life and its profound lessons and values, alongside celebratory speeches and activities, amidst active engagement from the attendees.
\nAssoc. Prof. Sukeina Hashem emphasized the significance of observing this occasion and drawing inspiration from the noble values and principles of the Prophet’s biography. She praised the female students for their participation and enthusiasm in engaging with the cultural and religious activities organized by the Faculty.
\nAttendees also commended the organization level and student participation, highlighting the importance of continuing such events that contribute to enriching university life and fostering a spirit of participation and connection among female students and faculty staff.
\nThis event comes as part of the activities and programs organized by the Department of Library and Information Science and the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, reflecting the faculty’s focus on student and cultural activities alongside its academic and scientific role.<\/h3>\n
