The visit formed part of the practical component for the &#8220;Yemeni Coins and Tombstones&#8221; course, supervised by Prof. Ali Saeed.<br \/>\nThe visit aimed to familiarize students with the types of Yemeni coins preserved in the Department of Archaeology and Tourism Museum, highlighting their historical, economic, political, and artistic significance, while examining their chronological sequence and evolution across various historical periods.<br \/>\nStudents were provided first-hand access to coin specimens to study their physical characteristics and content, including symbols, inscriptions, and writings that reflect vital aspects of Yemeni history.
