The MA defense was held on <strong>Sunday, August 9, 2026.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3>The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Abdullah Ali Al-Fadhli \u2013 Sana\u2019a University \u2013 Internal Examiner and Committee Chair.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Rajiha Saad Rajeh \u2013 Sana\u2019a University \u2013 Principal Supervisor and Committee Member.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Abdulbasit Saeed Al-Faqih \u2013 Sana\u2019a University \u2013 External Examiner.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The study aimed to examine the role of staff in implementing knowledge management in Sana\u2019a University libraries and its impact on institutional performance by identifying the availability of the requirements for implementing knowledge management, the role of staff in carrying out knowledge management processes, and proposed solutions to strengthen their role in knowledge management implementation and improve institutional performance.<\/h3>\n<h3>The study reached several findings, most notably a variation in the role of staff in implementing knowledge management processes in Sana\u2019a University libraries. Knowledge generation ranked first, with a mean score of 3.81, while knowledge application ranked last, with a mean score of 3.37.<\/h3>\n<h3>The findings also demonstrated a statistically significant impact of implementing knowledge management processes on institutional performance in Sana\u2019a University libraries. They further revealed shortcomings in staff qualification, training, encouragement, and financial incentives, which negatively affect the level of their performance.<\/h3>\n<h3>The study also found that staff faced difficulties in exchanging their knowledge and expertise, both with departments of the Central Library and with the libraries of Sana\u2019a University\u2019s faculties, due to limited use of technology for knowledge transfer and sharing.<\/h3>\n<h3>The study recommended that library administrations make optimal use of their human resources by addressing staff needs, developing their skills, and granting them adequate authority commensurate with their responsibilities, thereby contributing to the achievement of institutional objectives.<\/h3>\n<h3>It also recommended encouraging staff to attend conferences and academic events to enrich their knowledge, generate and share new knowledge, and improve the technological infrastructure of Sana\u2019a University libraries, particularly in developing databases and digital repositories, connecting to information networks, and making greater use of such technologies in knowledge management.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/h3>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\"
