Ms. Suad Mohammed Abdullah Ahmed Othman\u200e <\/strong>was awarded a PhD degree in Information Technology <\/strong>for her dissertation titled: A Novel Intelligent Distributed Model for Intrusion Detection and Prevention in Cloud Computing<\/em><\/strong>, which was submitted to the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology <\/strong>\u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The dissertation defense was held on Thursday, January 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n

The study aimed to propose a new intelligent model for the detection and prevention of \u200ecyberattacks in cloud computing environments.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The study findings showed that the proposed model attained a detection accuracy of up to 99%, demonstrating the effectiveness and reliability of such a proposed intelligent distributed model.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the light of the findings, the researcher recommended adopting intelligent systems for attack detection, thereby contributing to enhanced data security and institutional protection in cloud computing infrastructures.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and specialists, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
