<\/p>\n\n The Faculty of Pharmacy has commenced the process of describing and outlining the courses for its Master’s programs across various majors. This effort falls within the Faculty\u2019s academic development plan, which aims to align the programs with quality and academic accreditation standards, ensure they meet labor market demands, and enhance the capabilities of its graduate students.
\nThe specialized Department Councils and the Faculty Council have allocated the courses to the Faculty\u2019s members based on their specialization. The executive mechanisms for course description and the procedures for updating content have been approved in accordance with the National Reference Framework and the global standards adopted in higher education.
\nQuality officials explained that the course description process will encompass a detailed review of each course\u2019s:
\n– General and specific objectives.
\n– Expected Learning Outcomes (ELOs).
\n– Teaching methodologies.
\n– Assessment strategies.
\n– Detailed course content.<\/p>\n
In addition to these elements, the project involves updating fundamental and modern references to ensure the delivery of robust scientific content that meets the requirements for advanced research and study.
\nThe Faculty will also work on standardizing the course description templates across all departments and defining performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implementation during the coming semesters. This will contribute to raising the level of efficiency and consistency among the various Master’s program courses.
\nThe Faculty Deanship affirmed that this project represents a qualitative step in enhancing the quality of higher programs, reflecting the University’s commitment to developing an advanced educational environment that elevates the students’ level and prepares them for the research and professional paths with high competence.<\/p>\n
The full course description is expected to be completed within the specified period, paving the way for its approval by the competent scientific councils and its implementation starting from the next academic year.<\/p>\n
