Sana\u2019a \u2013\r\nOn Tuesday, 24 Rabi\u02bf al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 16, 2025 CE, the Faculty of Physical Education at Sana\u2019a University, in cooperation with the University Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, organized a scientific workshop titled \u201cReview, Update, and Approval of the Doctoral Program Document in Physical Education.\u201d<\/span> This event forms part of the faculty\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic programs and align them with standards of quality and academic accreditation.<\/h3>\r\n

The workshop gathered a distinguished group of specialists in Physical Education, representatives from the Center for Academic Development, faculty members and their assistants, as well as officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.\r\nDuring the sessions, Prof. Dr. Najeeb Saleh Ja\u2019eem, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance, presented and discussed key components of the doctoral program document\u2014including learning outcomes, curriculum structure, admission criteria, and evaluation mechanisms\u2014ensuring alignment with institutional development and academic modernization requirements.<\/h3>\r\n

In his opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Abdulghani Mujahid Mutahar, emphasized the importance of this workshop in strengthening the academic quality of the faculty\u2019s graduate programs. He noted that updating the doctoral program is a strategic step to enhance the efficiency of research and scientific output and to meet the needs of society and the labor market in the field of Physical Education.<\/h3>\r\n

Representatives of the University Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammed Shaml\u0101n and Dr. Muneer Saleh Al-Ezani, commended the faculty\u2019s dedication to developing its programs in accordance with national academic standards, affirming the center\u2019s full support for initiatives that improve the quality of higher education across the university.<\/h3>\r\n

The workshop concluded with several key recommendations, most notably the adoption of the updated program structure, the formation of a follow-up committee to oversee implementation, and the reaffirmation of the need for periodic evaluation and continuous program updates.<\/h3>\r\n

This workshop is part of a series of developmental activities undertaken by the Faculty of Physical Education as part of its strategic plan for continuous improvement and for ensuring the quality of academic and research performance.<\/h3>\r\n
