promoting physical, social, psychological, and cognitive health among members of the community in the Capital Secretariat (Sana\u2019a).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Examine the role of sport in enhancing the physical fitness of members of the armed and security forces, from the perspective of community members in the Capital Secretariat (Sana\u2019a).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe main findings of the study revealed that:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>There were statistically significant differences in the role of sport in promoting optimal health among community members, attributed to the variables of practice and age.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>No significant differences were found regarding gender or educational level, except in the dimension of perceptions of sport in promoting optimal health among members of the armed and security forces, where statistically significant differences were found in favor of males.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nIn light of these findings, the researcher emphasized the importance of transforming this health culture into greater public awareness and regular engagement in sports, with a focus on practicing sport for health purposes based on sound scientific and medical principles.\r\n\r\nThe defense session was attended by faculty members, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s
