The Inclusive Development Research Center (IDRC) is an academic research institution dedicated to enhancing the understanding and practical application of sustainable and inclusive development concepts. It focuses on studying communities’ social, economic, and environmental challenges and seeks to develop innovative strategies and solutions that improve quality of life and promote sustainable development. The center’s research is not a solitary endeavor but a collaborative one. It employs a range of scientific methodologies and brings together academics and practitioners from various fields. It also seeks to foster collaboration between governmental institutions, the private sector, and civil society through workshops, conferences, and seminars highlighting best practices and successful experiences. As a pivotal platform for knowledge exchange, the IDRC plays a significant role in supporting public policies that contribute to sustainable development. Establishment of IDRC<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

IDRC is an academic research center at Sana\u2019a University. It was established in 1993 as an \u201cacademic unit of the Social Science Department\u201d at the Faculty of Arts. Then the unit became a center for \u201cApplied Research and Feminist Studies\u201d in 1997 by the decision of the Head of the University No. 501. In 2000, the center\u2019s name was changed to \u201cWomen\u2019s Studies Center\u201d by the decision of the University presidency No. 30, after that the name changed again in 2005 by the decision of the University Presidency No. 623 to become the \u201cGender Research and Development Studies Center\u201d, and in the same year the name was modified to become \u201cGender-Development Research and Study Center\u201d by the decision of the University Presidency No. 775. Recently, the center’s\u00a0 name was changed to\u00a0\u00a0 Inclusive\u00a0 Development Research Center by the University Presidency decision No. (60) for the year 1445 AH\/2023, to be the permanent name.<\/p>
