The program is held under the patronage of the university&#8217;s Rector, Professor Al-Qassem Muhammad Abbas, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Social Fund for Development, and IHE Delft Institute in the Netherlands, with support from the Dutch government.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative targets water and sanitation institutions across seven governorates: the Capital City, Taiz, Amran, Al-Bayda, Lahij, Raymah, and Al-Dhale&#8217;e. The training sessions, taking place from January 19 to 21, aim to enhance the capabilities of participating institutions in managing water resources and implementing effective rainwater harvesting techniques to combat water scarcity challenges in Yemen.<\/p>\n<p>The program features a combination of ppltheoretical sessions, interactive workshops, and field visits to various rainwater harvesting sites, including groundwater recharge dams and residential applications.
