The Inclusive Development Research Center (IDRC) at Sana\u2019a University organized, on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, a seminar to discuss the PhD dissertation proposal submitted by researcher Asmaa Ahmed Al-Hamdani, entitled:<\/p>\n

‘The Role of Microfinance in Enhancing Local Development through Yemeni Rural Women\u2019s Projects. ( A Field Study)<\/p>\n

The examination and evaluation committee consisted of:<\/p>\n

Dr. Halima Jahhaf \u2014 Examiner<\/p>\n

Assoc. Prof. Saud Al-Shawash \u2014 Examiner<\/p>\n

Dr. Iman Al-Jawfi \u2014 Examiner<\/p>\n

Prof. Khaled Qasim Qaed \u2014 Supervisor<\/p>\n

During the session, the researcher presented her dissertation proposal, outlining the study\u2019s objectives, significance, methodology, and the theoretical and conceptual framework upon which it is based, in addition to the proposed hypotheses and analytical tools to be employed.<\/p>\n

Following an in-depth discussion by the committee members, the committee approved the proposed research plan and commended the researcher\u2019s academic efforts.<\/p>\n

The seminar was attended by a number of interested participants and postgraduate students from the Center.<\/p>\n
