The Inclusive Development Research Center (IDRC) successfully concluded its specialized academic workshop, “The Methodological Use of Development Terminology in Scientific Research.” Led by Dr. Khaled Al-Akwa, the program engaged a select group of PhD candidates and senior researchers specializing in Social Sciences, Economics, International Development, and Public Policy.<\/p>\n

The workshop provided an intensive deep dive into the linguistic and structural frameworks of developmental studies. Participants engaged in high-level academic discourse focused on three core pillars:<\/p>\n

– Establishing rigorous boundaries between terminology, concepts, and theoretical frameworks.<\/p>\n

– Strategies for embedding development-specific terminology within research problem statements and literature reviews.<\/p>\n

– Reviewing real-world research models to identify and correct common conceptual fallacies in developmental literature.<\/p>\n

During the closing session, Dr. Khaled Al-Akwa emphasized that methodological literacy regarding terminology is the primary gateway to ensuring the quality and credibility of academic research.<\/p>\n

Dr. Halima Jahaf, the Center Director, presided over the certification ceremony. In her closing remarks, she reaffirmed the Center\u2019s commitment to hosting specialized programs that empower researchers and elevate the standard of developmental scholarship to meet international academic benchmarks.<\/p>\n
