An introductory training course on international asylum law for students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Sana’a University

The Center for Migration, Refugee and Displaced Persons Studies held an annual training course for a number of students from the College of Sharia and Law on introducing international laws and Yemeni legislation related to asylum issues during the period 11-27 February 2024 AD.
During the opening, which was attended by the President of the University and a number of academics, students, and administrators at the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Emad, Director of the Center, welcomed all those present, offering his thanks to the President of the University, to whom the Center gives attention and support to advance the performance of its duties.
The sessions of this course, which lasted for fourteen days, included multiple practical exercises and issues that were studied from a practical standpoint within the course titles, and the participants received many legal information and knowledge that contribute to enhancing knowledge of asylum and displacement issues with the aim of building local capacities to fulfill international obligations.
