About the Center for Political and Strategic Studies at Sana’a University
The Political and Strategic Studies Center at Sana’a University was established by a decision from the university president (Decision No. 112) in 2008, but its actual activities did not commence until December 2011. The center is located on the first floor of the centers building, northwest of the university presidency.
Center’s Tasks:
The center’s activities encompass several key areas, focusing on:
Education: Providing specialized educational programs related to political and strategic studies.
Research: Conducting studies and research aimed at understanding national, regional, and international issues.
Training: Offering training courses and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in political and strategic fields.
Contribution to Community Issues:
The center seeks to engage with political issues and their associated economic, social, and environmental circumstances by activating its role in line with the university’s goals in academic education, rigorous scientific research, and community service. Faculty members at the center consider the various aspects of societal movements, enhancing its active presence in discussing political and diplomatic issues, and providing insights and solutions through diverse research methods.
Additionally, the center contributes to delivering practical expertise to beneficiary groups in the community through qualification and training, while continuously monitoring developments in its field.
