Student Nada Essam Qa’ed Abdullhaq Al-Aghbari obtained a Master’s degree in Population Studies, specializing in Population Studies, from the Population Studies and Training Center at Sana’a University. She defended her thesis titled ” Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Sana’a University Students Toward Population Statistics” on Tuesday, 1\/7\/1446 AH, corresponding to 31\/12\/2024 AD.<\/h4>\n

The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Ahmed Muthar Oqbat as an internal examiner and chair of the committee, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Haddad as the primary supervisor and committee member, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Othman Al-Makhlafi as an internal examiner and committee member.<\/h4>\n

The study aimed to measure the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of Sana’a University students towards population statistics.<\/h4>\n

The thesis reached several significant findings, including:<\/h4>\n

    Statistical differences in the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of Sana’a University students towards population statistics were found, attributed to the gender variable, favoring male students.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Statistical differences in the attitudes of Sana’a University students towards population statistics were found due to the college variable (humanities or applied), with attitudes among students in applied colleges being lower than those in humanities colleges.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The student provided practical recommendations for periodically evaluating and modifying the statistics programs (curricula) at the university and linking them to the specialized aspects of the students to enhance their knowledge and attitudes, ultimately improving their practices and raising the importance of statistics in general and population statistics in particular among students in their studies and future careers.<\/h4>\n

    A number of the student’s colleagues, researchers, and family members attended the discussion.<\/h4>\n
