Master’s Degree Awarded to Mr. Mohammed Sharaf Al-Deen in Business Administration

Mr. Mohammed Sharaf Al-Deen was awarded a Master’s degree in the major of Business Administration with an average of (Excellent) and a grade of (95%) for his thesis titled: The Impact of Using Smart Mobile Applications on the Quality of Banking Services: A Case Study of Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank, which was submitted to the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Commerce and Economics, Sana’a University. The MA defense was held on Monday, June 2, 2025
The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The study aimed to investigate the impact of smart mobile application use—across the dimensions of ease of use, privacy, service efficiency, and perceived risk—on the quality of banking services at Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank in the Capital Secretariat (Sana’a). It also sought to provide recommendations and solutions that serve stakeholders in the bank under study. The research adopted the descriptive-analytical methodology, given its appropriateness for the nature and objectives of the study. A structured questionnaire was employed as the primary tool for data collection.
The study concluded with several key findings, most notably the existence of a statistically significant impact of smart mobile application usage—across all four mentioned dimensions—on the quality of banking services at Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank.
The thesis concluded with a number of key recommendations, including the imperative for the bank to devote comprehensive attention to smart mobile banking applications, as a means to ensure high-quality banking services.
The defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and interested individuals, along with the candidate’s colleagues, friends, and family members.
