Master’s Degree Awarded to Mr. Hisham Mohammed in Physical Education

Mr. Hisham Mohammed Lutfi Ahmed was awarded a Master’s degree in Physical Education for his thesis titled: Psychological and Social Characteristics of Motor Rehabilitation Specialists and Their Relationship to Patient Satisfaction in Physical Therapy Centers in the Capital Secretariat–Sana’a, which was submitted to the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Physical Education, Sana’a University. The MA defense was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:

The thesis aimed to assess the psychological and social characteristics of motor rehabilitation specialists as perceived by patients at physical therapy centers in the Capital Secretariat, and to analyze the correlation between these characteristics and patient satisfaction with the quality of rehabilitation services.
The thesis yielded several important findings as follows:
- The psychological characteristics of motor rehabilitation specialists were rated at a moderate level by patients, with some variation between medium and high scores.
- Social characteristics were also moderate, except for the dimension concerning collaboration with the patient’s family, which was rated as very low.
- Overall patient satisfaction with motor rehabilitation services was moderate.
The researcher recommended increased attention to the development of the psychological and social characteristics of motor rehabilitation specialists, given their positive impact on the quality of care provided to patients at physical therapy centers.
The defense was attended by academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher’s family.
