Ms. Hala Ahmed Hassan Saleh Al-Namari <\/strong>was awarded a Master’s degree in Mathematics Curriculum <\/strong>\u200e<\/strong>with an average of (Excellent<\/strong>) for her thesis titled: The Impact of PhET Interactive Simulation on Developing Analytical Thinking in Mathematics Among Primary School Students<\/em><\/strong>, which was submitted to the Department of Mathematics Curriculum, <\/strong>Faculty of Education, Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Monday, May 26, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The research aimed to investigate the impact of PhET interactive simulation on developing key analytical thinking skills in mathematics among primary school students. These skills included classification, sequencing, generalization, relationship recognition, and series construction.<\/p>\n

The research yielded several significant findings, including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • No statistically significant differences were found between the experimental and control groups in overall performance on the analytical thinking skills test.<\/li>\n
  • A positive impact was observed from the use of PhET interactive simulations in developing the specific skill of relationship recognition, and series construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The research concluded with a number of significant recommendations. The most important recommendation lied in the proposal that teachers should receive training in the effective use of PhET interactive simulations and be encouraged to integrate them into classroom practice to foster the development of students’ analytical thinking skills.<\/p>\n

    The thesis defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and interested participants, along with the researcher\u2019s colleagues and family members.<\/p>\n
