Mr. <\/strong>Ali Muqbil Ali Musa<\/strong> was awarded a PhD degree in Physical Education Sciences<\/strong> for his dissertation titled \u201cThe Impact of Using Proposed Exercises to Rehabilitate Lower Limb Muscles in Patients with Post-Surgical Fractures<\/strong>,”\u201d<\/em> which was submitted to Department of Physical Education at Faculty of Physical Education – <\/strong>Sana’a University. The PhD dissertation defense was held on Thursday, September 18<\/strong>, corresponding to Rabi’ al-Awwal 26, 1447<\/strong> Hijri.<\/p>\n

The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The dissertation aimed to<\/strong> identify the impact of the proposed exercises on muscle strength, range of motion, and the muscular circumference of the thigh and leg in post-surgical fracture patients.<\/p>\n

The dissertation concluded<\/strong> that there were statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements of these variables, with results favoring the post-measurements.<\/p>\n

In his dissertation, Dr. Musa recommended<\/strong> using the researched exercises in a structured manner, early in the recovery process, and under the guidance of the treating surgeon. This approach is crucial for preventing complications that may arise if rehabilitative exercises are neglected.<\/p>\n

The PhD dissertation<\/strong> was examined and recommended by the Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance<\/strong> and approval<\/strong>. The PhD defense<\/strong> was attended<\/strong> by a number of academics, researchers, interested students, the candidate\u2019s colleagues, and family members.<\/p>\n
