Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Hussein Zouba <\/strong>was awarded a Master\u2019s Degree in Physical Education <\/strong>for his thesis titled: The Psychological Effects of the Suspension of Sports Competitions on Team-Sport Coaches in the Republic of Yemen<\/em><\/strong>, which was submitted to the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Physical Education \u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The thesis aimed to assess the psychological effects of halted sports competitions on coaches of team sports across Yemen.<\/p>\n

Using a standardized psychological effects scale, the research yielded several notable findings as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The overall score of the Psychological Effects Scale, from the perspective of team-sport coaches, was rated at an \u201cagree\u201d level, with a mean of 761<\/strong>, a standard deviation of 0.428<\/strong>, and a relative significance of 58.71%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • No statistically significant differences were found in the average responses regarding the psychological effects attributable to the variables of educational qualification<\/strong> or years of experience<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Statistically significant differences were, however, observed with respect to the variable of type of sport<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Developing specialized training programs through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, sports federations, and clubs to encourage coaches to continue their professional engagement.<\/li>\n
    • Renovating, equipping, and rehabilitating sports facilities, including stadiums and gyms, to encourage coaches and athletes to practice sports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and interested \u200eparticipants, along with the candidate\u2019s colleagues and family members.\u200e<\/p>\n
