Mr.<\/strong> Hilal Hasan Ismael Ali Al-Jawhari <\/strong>was awarded a Master’s degree in the major of Physics <\/strong>for his thesis titled, “Nonlinear Propagation and Stability Analysis of Ion-Acoustic Waves in Relativistic Space Plasma<\/strong>,” which was submitted to the Department of Physics<\/strong>, Faculty of Science – Sana\u2019a University. The defense was held on Saturday, October 18, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The study aimed to<\/strong> conduct a precise study of the fundamental characteristics and instability of relativistic solitary waves.<\/p>\n

The study <\/strong>reached several findings<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Only compressive Ion-Acoustic (IA) solitary waves are formed in the present plasma models with positive or negative heavy ions.<\/li>\n
  • The relativistic phase velocity of Ion-Acoustic Waves (IAWs) decreases with increasing values of the relativistic factor \u03b20.<\/li>\n
  • The soliton amplitude increases with an increase in the relativistic factor \u03b20.<\/li>\n
  • The growth rate of the instability decreases with increasing magnetic field strength.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The study concluded with the following main recommendations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Exploring ultra-relativistic and quantum systems.<\/li>\n
    • Laboratory verification: Conducting well-diagnosed, magnetized relativistic plasma experiments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The study <\/strong>was examined and recommended by the MA Viva-Voce Committee for acceptance and approval. The defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, and interested individuals, in addition to the candidate\u2019s colleagues and family members.<\/p>\n
