Mr. Mohammed Ali Hussein Abdullah Al-Dhafri <\/strong>was awarded a PhD degree in Business Administration <\/strong>for his dissertation titled: The Impact of Strategic Vigilance on Organizational Excellence through Organizational Ambidexterity in Yemen\u2019s Telecommunications Sector<\/em>, <\/strong>which was submitted to the Center of Business Administration \u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The dissertation defense was held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n

The study aimed to examine the impact of strategic vigilance on organizational excellence through organizational ambidexterity in Yemeni telecommunications companies. It also sought to assess the current status of organizational excellence, the degree of strategic vigilance, and the level of organizational ambidexterity among supervisory and leadership positions in four major Yemeni telecom companies.<\/p>\n

The main findings of the study revealed a statistically significant overall impact of strategic vigilance on organizational excellence through organizational ambidexterity. The study also found a partial effect of strategic vigilance on organizational excellence through the variables of opportunity exploitation, exploration of new opportunities, and flexible organizational structure.<\/p>\n

In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:<\/p>\n

  • Activating the mediating variables\u2014opportunity exploitation, exploration of new opportunities, and flexible organizational structures\u2014to strengthen the relationship between strategic vigilance and organizational excellence.<\/li>\n
  • Implementing specialized training programs to enhance the effectiveness of these mediating factors and promote organizational excellence in the telecommunications sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The dissertation defense was attended by faculty members, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
