Mr. Abdulghani Abdulaziz Abdo Naji Al-Humaidi \u200e<\/strong>was awarded a PhD degree in Education Foundations <\/strong>for his dissertation titled: The Reality of the National System for Managing Cases of Vulnerable Children and Its Educational Role in the Republic of Yemen<\/em><\/strong>, which was submitted to the Department of Education Foundations, Faculty of Education \u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The dissertation defense was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The PhD Viva-Voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n

The study aimed to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Identify the level of implementation of the National Case Management System for Vulnerable Children in the Republic of Yemen from the perspective of its practitioners.<\/li>\n
  • Examine the services provided to vulnerable children, as well as the successes and challenges in the system\u2019s practical implementation.<\/li>\n
  • Explore the educational role achieved by the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The study yielded a number of key findings summarized as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • All five domains of the National Case Management System for Vulnerable Children in Yemen were found to exist to a high degree, according to the measurement scale used.<\/li>\n
    • There was a clear variation in the level and extent of availability and practice across the different domains of the system and its educational role in real social and practical contexts.<\/li>\n
    • The professional practice of the National Case Management System ranked first among the five domains and was found to exist to a high degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In light of these findings, the researcher recommended:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Emphasizing the educational role of the National Case Management System\u2014supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor\u2014within Yemeni schools and universities.<\/li>\n
      • Strengthening the system\u2019s focus on providing therapeutic, preventive, and developmental services, as well as shelter, medical treatment, and surgical services, in line with its mandate to protect vulnerable children.<\/li>\n
      • Employing qualified social workers with university degrees in social work and sociology to enhance the system\u2019s effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, researchers, and specialists, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
