Mr. Mamdouh Saleh Mohammed Salem Al-Sadah \u200e<\/strong>was awarded a Master\u2019s Degree in Educational Administration and Planning\u200e <\/strong>with an average of excellent and a grade of (95) for his thesis titled: Proactive Leadership Practices and Their Relationship to Strategic Entrepreneurship among Academic Leaders at Sana\u2019a University<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>which was submitted to the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, Faculty of Education,\u2013 Sana\u2019a University. The MA defense was held on Thursday, May 14, 2026\u200e\u200e.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The thesis aimed to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Identify the reality of proactive leadership practices and strategic entrepreneurship among academic leaders at Sana\u2019a University from the perspective of the study sample.<\/li>\n
  • Examine whether there were statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level in respondents\u2019 views regarding the practice of proactive leadership and strategic entrepreneurship attributed to variables such as gender, job title, academic rank, and years of experience.<\/li>\n
  • Explore the nature of the relationship between proactive leadership and strategic entrepreneurship among academic leaders at Sana\u2019a University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The study yielded several key findings summarized as follows:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • The level of proactive leadership practices among academic leaders at Sana\u2019a University was high, with a mean score of 3.82.<\/li>\n
    • The level of strategic entrepreneurship practice among academic leaders was also high, with a mean score of 3.65.<\/li>\n
    • The strongest dimensions were proactive personality (3.75) and entrepreneurial thinking (3.73).<\/li>\n
    • The dimensions most in need of improvement were proactive orientation (3.75) and resource management (3.55).\u200e<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following:\u200e<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Developing specialized training programs.<\/li>\n
      • Strengthening strategic resource management practices.<\/li>\n
      • Supporting creativity and innovation.<\/li>\n
      • Establishing a unified organizational framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
