WEC Participates in a Meeting on Community Initiatives in the Field of Public Hygiene

Last Sunday, WEC participated in the expanded consultative meeting held in the capital city of Sana’a, with the aim of stimulating community initiatives and supporting the public hygiene system.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Fadl Al-Nuzaili and Dr. Khaled Al-Abaidi, representing WEC, presented a working paper on the role of research centers in enhancing the sustainability of hygiene, stressing the importance of integration between academic and institutional efforts to enhance environmental awareness, in addition to clarifying the challenges facing solid waste management in Yemen.
The working paper pointed to clarifying the challenges facing solid waste management in Yemen and the need to adopt innovative strategies to address the challenges of hygiene and waste management within the framework of supporting sustainable environmental policies and enhancing community responsibility to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
