Water and Environment Center, Inclusive Development Research Center Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday (1447 Hijri)

The Water and Environment Center, in collaboration with the Inclusive Development Research Center at Sana’a University, held a commemorating event marking the occasion of the Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday (Al-Mawlid Al-Nabawi) for the year 1447 Hijri. The celebration took place in the Water and Environment Center hall, with the participation of Prof. Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, President of Sana’a University, Prof. Zaid Al-Warith, Assistant to the University President for Research Centers, along with a distinguished gathering of academics, researchers, and students.
During the event, the University President emphasized that the Prophet’s biography constitutes a comprehensive scholarly and educational reference, urging the integration of prophetic values into development of academic curricula and scientific research.
Organizers noted that the event focused on enhancing awareness of prophetic values and linking them with educational and research processes. They highlighted that commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday serves as an opportunity to reinforce Islamic identity and draw inspiration from the values laid down by Prophet Mohammed in the advancement of civilization.
They further stressed that such scientific and cultural events reflect the commitment of Sana’a University’s research centers to harmonize spiritual dimensions with intellectual pursuits, thereby fostering generations capable of effectively serving their society.
