Water and Environment Center Holds First Council Meeting for Academic year 1447 Hijri

The Water and Environment Center at Sana’a University held today its first Council meeting for the Academic year 1447 Hijri, chaired by Prof. Zaid Al-Wareeth, the Rector’s Assistant for Centers’ Affairs, with the attendance of Dr. Taha Al-Weshali, the Center’s Director, members of the Council, and representatives of relevant institutions.
The meeting discussed a range of academic and scientific issues related to the Center’s programs and activities, within the framework of strengthening its research and scientific role in addressing water and environmental issues to contribute to institutional development and achievement of the Center’s strategic objectives.
Representatives from the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources also participated, along with members and staff of the Center, underscoring the importance of institutional coordination and strengthening partnerships among stakeholders concerned with water and environmental matters.
This meeting stands as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research, build academic capacities, contribute to achieving sustainable development goals in the fields of water and environment, and reinforce the Center’s presence as an active academic and research institution at the national level.
