Sana’a University Quality Committees Conduct Field Evaluation of Graduate Programs at the Water and Environment Center

As part of Sana’a University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and academic accreditation system, committees from the Center for Development and Quality Assurance conducted a field evaluation visit today to the Water and Environment Center (WEC). The visit aimed to assess the performance of graduate programs in alignment with the Center’s approved operational plan and continuous academic improvement initiatives.
The primary objective of the visit was to review evaluation forms for graduate programs and verify compliance with the university’s academic standards and accreditation requirements, thereby contributing to the elevation of educational and research outcomes.
The evaluation committee comprised Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Noono, Dr. Fathia Al-Hamdani, and Mr. Adel Al-Qubati. They were received by the Director of the Water and Environment Center, Dr. Taha Al-Washali, Deputy Director Prof. Hisham Nagi, Prof. Abdullah Numan, the Center’s Secretary Mr. Abdullah Al-Adlah, and the Director of Graduate Studies, Mr. Ali Al-Karshami.
During the visit, the Water and Environment Center presented the committee with various documents pertaining to graduate programs, formatted according to the Sana’a University Quality Center’s templates. The review included program specifications, curricula, general schedules, and accreditation decrees to ensure alignment with approved academic standards and institutional development requirements.
At the conclusion of the visit, the committee emphasized that these procedures are integral to Sana’a University’s strategic direction toward institutionalizing a culture of quality and academic accreditation. This approach is expected to positively impact the development of graduate programs, enhance the efficiency of scientific and research outputs, and strengthen their alignment with international academic best practices.
