In 2007 I had the honor to attend the events of the General Conference, UNESCO, 34th session, in Paris within the National Yemeni Delegations.

Feb. 2015, I provided short training & introductory course on dinosaurs and paleontology for the staff at Qatar Museum of Nature and Science.

2016, I provided short training & introductory course on the Climate change & the Coastal areas for the MSc students at the Water and Environmental Centre WEC, Sana’a University. .

May-June. 2017, I spent one month Academic Exchange program at the Faculty of Geology, University of Warsaw, Poland & give several lectures on the Geology of Yemen and on the attractive geological sites in Yemen.

2024, I provided short training & introductory course on the Climate change & the Coastal areas for the MSc students at the Water and Environmental Centre WEC, Sana’a University.

RESENT INTEREST

Clastic Sedimentary Cover of Yemen (main aquifer for water in the region) Geological heritage of Yemen. Such as Dinosaur foot prints, caves, etc…

Try to identify and protect the best National representative geological feature or major sequence, and look for any unique or exceptional sites and of International importance. This work will lead us to establish a ‘GEOPARK’ in Yemen in near future.

Follow-up to complete the procedures for the establishment the National Science Museum Project (NSM) Sana’a, Yemen

Supervision and training students and staff of the geological museum, in different geological topics as well the training in the geological field excursions and how to preserve and protect the unique and the important geological sites.

Geo and Eco-Tourism in the development of socio-economic of Yemen

Worked as team leader to study the impacts of Climate changes on the Red Sea Coast, financed by the World Bank (2001-2002)

Participated in many international scientific meetings and conferences
