The Water and Environment Center at Sana\u2019a University organized today a training \u200ecourse entitled \u201cUsing Data Collection and Survey Tools in Field Surveys\u201d at the \u200eCenter\u2019s premises, with the participation of a number of researchers, professionals, and \u200eindividuals interested in field surveys and data collection.\u200e<\/p>\n

The course was delivered by Dr. Ameen Dabwan, who addressed a range of topics \u200erelated to practical tools and methods used in field data collection, as well as the \u200eprinciples of designing and preparing questionnaires and methods of administering them, \u200ein ways that contribute to improving data quality and accuracy and enhancing its \u200ereliability.\u200e<\/p>\n

The course aimed to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills required to \u200euse data collection tools and questionnaires effectively and to strengthen their capacity to \u200econduct field surveys using sound scientific and methodological approaches.\u200e<\/p>\n

The course forms part of the Water and Environment Center\u2019s efforts at Sana\u2019a \u200eUniversity to build capacities and develop skills and knowledge related to water, the \u200eenvironment, and field research, thereby contributing to the advancement of scientific \u200epractices and supporting sustainable development efforts.\u200e<\/p>\n

The Center continues to implement training and awareness-raising programs aimed at \u200eserving the community, promoting sound scientific knowledge and practices in the fields \u200eof water and the environment, and developing the capacities of researchers and \u200eprofessionals interested in these areas.\u200e<\/p>\n
