The Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics is a specialized academic and healthcare department dedicated to preparing qualified professionals in the field of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices according to the latest scientific and professional standards. The department offers a Bachelor’s Program in Orthotics and Prosthetics, as well as a Bridge Program designed to enable practicing technicians to complete their studies and obtain a bachelor’s degree, thereby advancing their academic and professional careers. The department is the only program in the region to have obtained international accreditation from the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) in 2023, reflecting the quality of its graduates and its alignment with the highest global standards.

To provide distinguished academic and training programs in orthotics and prosthetics in line with quality and international accreditation standards, to prepare scientifically and professionally competent graduates capable of designing and fitting assistive devices effectively, and to promote research, innovation, and community engagement to meet patient needs and labor market demands.

The Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics obtained international accreditation from the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) in 2023.
