An introductory overview of the program:
Simply, graphic design in English is the art of transforming ideas into visual design to deliver a specific message to the audience. Graphic design is considered an alternative to the ancient art of drawing. Instead of relying on a brush and a palette, drawing is relied upon through some programs on Electronic devices, this is done for marketing, educational or technical purposes.
The specialty of graphic design has become one of the important specializations in the labor market, but it requires a person with the passion and ability to be creative to implement designs in a distinctive way and transform ideas into creative visuals that are close to the audience and touch their feelings.
Graphic design is not just an advertisement or a banner! But it is a broad specialty and is divided into many fields. The most prominent programs used in graphic design are: Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign Graphic design is related to many fields, including television advertisements, website design, advertising, and others
Introduction to the program
Graphic design reflects modern language and visual culture, by harnessing the latest advanced technological capabilities of computers, special software, multimedia, and other technical tools to translate creative ideas into artistic projects by integrating creative skills with multimedia applications and technologies, and exploiting all of that in various sectors.
This specialization is based on the scientific and professional qualification of students in the fields of advertising and media institutions, enabling them to engage in the professions of designing and producing printed and visual advertising, three-dimensional designs, and animated visual effects according to technical methods and modern technology, where the student masters the use of various design programs and applications to produce innovative and purposeful designs.

1- Preparing specialized cadres in the fields of graphic and digital design who contribute to the development of society and meeting the requirements of the labor market locally and internationally. 2- Strengthening the local and regional market with qualified cadres according to the requirements of the labor market. 3- Providing scientific and practical consultations related to the fields of graphic and digital design. 4- Preparing a staff capable of delivering the message to the target audience, according to the latest graphic and digital design techniques. 5- Harnessing graphic design techniques in various sectors of society, especially the commercial and artistic advertising sector, to advance their levels. 6- Providing students with the skills of free drawing, and studying the applications of two- and three-dimensional computer drawing. 7- Training students to produce different types of artistic works, for the purpose of using them in various institutions. |

Admission Requirements for the Program
For a student to be accepted into the program, the following conditions are required: – Admission to the program in accordance with the admission rules determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as the university admission guidelines. – General Secondary Education Certificate (Science Section) or any equivalent certificate with a grade as specified in the admission rules issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. – Pass the aptitude test and personal interview. – Any necessary condition for specialization determined by the department. | |
