As part of its ongoing community outreach and commitment to training and capacity-building for students and researchers in translation departments across Yemeni public and private universities, the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University hosted a field visit on Sunday, 03 August 2025 (corresponding to 9 Safar 1447 AH) for a group of eight students from the Translation Department at Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed University, accompanied by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Akwa.

The students were also introduced to the types of documents regularly translated at the center, common challenges faced by translators, and strategies for addressing frequent errors and complex translation issues.
The visit also included discussions on how students and academic institutions can benefit from the CCTLT’s academic and professional training services. The students gained deeper insight into the Center’s significant role in supporting translation education and research in Yemen.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Center’s leadership and staff for their warm hospitality and for facilitating a valuable and enriching learning experience.
