Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching Launches August 2025 Language Skills Competition

The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University launched today, Monday, August 5, 2025, the first round of its scientific Language Skills Competition, organized for students enrolled in the English Language Program.
The competition began with a spirited contest between students from classes of Level 3B and Level 4B, as part of the center’s ongoing efforts to enhance linguistic performance and foster positive academic competition among language learners.
The event was inaugurated under the supervision of the Center’s Director, Dr. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, who delivered an encouraging speech expressing pride in the students’ achievements and appreciation for the dedication of the teachers and coordinators who helped organize this dynamic educational initiative.
The competition was coordinated and organized by Mr. Adeeb Al-Qubati and Ms. Aisha Al-Shawesh, with the participation and supervision of the Head of the Department, Mr. Noah Shosha, and in the presence of the instructors of the competing courses:

The event was marked by enthusiastic participation and close competition, as teams demonstrated comparable skill levels, creating an atmosphere of excitement and challenge. By the end of the first round, both Level 3B (Boys) and Level 4B (Girls) teams qualified for the semi-final stage. The competition will continue in the coming days to determine the winning team.
This event is part of a broader series of innovative academic activities organized by the Center with a view to developing students’ language skills through interactive, modern teaching methods that promote active engagement and healthy competition. It reflects the Center’s commitment to delivering quality education and keeping pace with academic developments.
