Language Skills Competition Continues at Sana’a University’s CCTLT for August 2025

The Language Skills Competition for August 2025, organized by the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University, continued today, Wednesday, August 7, 2025. Today’s event featured a new round of competition between the Speaking 3 and 5A classes within the English Language Program.

This competition aims to develop students’ language skills and motivate them towards interaction and constructive competition, as part of the Center’s continuous effort to establish the principles of quality education.

This round was coordinated and organized by:

• Ms. Aisha Al-Shawesh
With the supervision and participation of the representative of the Language Teaching Department:
• Ms. Ebtisam Al-Mahdi
The instructors of the competing classes also attended the session:
• Mr. Mukarram Al-Khobi
• Mr. Mamon Al-Saar

The competition was characterized by a strong competitive atmosphere, with students demonstrating excellence in performance, fluency, and quick thinking. After the evaluation of the participating teams, the results led to the qualification of the Speaking 3 class team for the semi-final stage.

The Center affirms that this event is part of a series of educational activities aimed at enhancing students’ proficiency and developing their abilities in the English language through modern and interactive methods. These competitions will continue for four rounds, culminating in the final round on the upcoming Monday, August 11, 2025.
