English Language Skills Competition Continues at CCTLT, Sana’a University

The competition in English language skills, organized by the Community Center for ‎Translation and Language Teaching at Sana’a University (CCTLT), continued today, Sunday, ‎August 10, 2025, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positively competitive spirit among ‎students.‎


This round of the semi-final stage featured outstanding performances in speaking and ‎grammar skills, with competitions held between Level 3A (male students) and Level 3B ‎‎(female students).‎

Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Director of the Center, met with the students to discuss their ‎experiences in the competition and listened attentively to their impressions regarding its ‎benefits in enhancing their skills. He praised their exceptional participation and highly ‎competitive spirit, affirming that their success is a source of pride for the Center. He also ‎extended his deep appreciation to the instructors for their dedication and fruitful efforts.‎


The participating students demonstrated remarkable fluency and quick thinking. Following ‎the evaluation, the 3A (male) team qualified for the final round, scheduled for next ‎Wednesday.‎


The event was attended by the Center’s Deputy Director, Dr. Yahya Ubaid, and the Head of ‎the Language Teaching Department, Mr. Nuh Shousha.
