Conclusion of August Pre-Final Round of Language Skills Competition at CCTLT

Sana’a – Monday, August 11, 2025
The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University concluded on Monday the pre-final round of the August Language Skills Competition, with the participation of the four qualifying teams, all of which were female students. The competition comprised two rounds: Speaking 3 versus 4B, and 5B versus 3B.
The event witnessed a spirited and engaging contest, during which the participating students demonstrated outstanding English language skills, both in fluency and quick thinking.
During the event, Mr. Nuh Shousha, Head of the Languages Department, expressed his pride in the students’ performance and encouraged them to continue their development. He extended his appreciation to all participants and affirmed the Center’s commitment to organizing further competitions and educational activities in the future.
The event was prepared and coordinated by Mr. Adeeb Al-Qubati and Ms. Aisha Al-Shaoush.
Following the evaluation process, the teams qualifying for the final round, scheduled for next Monday, were announced as follows:
• Team 4B (Female)
• Team 5B (Female)
• Team 3B (Male)
The final round will be held in the presence of the coaches of the qualifying teams:
• Ms. Hala Al-Hammadi
• Mr. Adeeb Al-Qubati
• Ms. Ehab Al-Hubaishi
• Mr. Mukram Al-Khubbi
The competition forms part of the Center’s programs aimed at enhancing students’ skills, fostering excellence, and promoting positive competition, in line with modern and interactive teaching methods.
The event was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Nedhari and Ms. Riham Al-Qubati, representing the Language Teaching Department.
