The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching Concludes August 2025 Language ‎Skills Competition

Sana’a – Monday, 24 Safar 1447 Hijri (corresponding to August 18, 2025)‎

The Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University ‎concluded the final round of the August 2025 Language Skills Competition on Monday. The event ‎featured the three qualifying teams in a strong and enjoyable competitive atmosphere that ‎reflected an outstanding level of fluency and language proficiency.‎

The following teams competed in the final round:‎
‎•‎ Team 5B (Girls)‎
‎•‎ Team 4B (Girls)‎
‎•‎ Team 3B (Boys)‎

At the conclusion of the event, Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Director of the Center, announced the ‎competition results. He extended his thanks to the participating students, as well as the attending ‎instructors and media representatives, with special appreciation for the competition organizers, ‎praising their significant efforts in making the event a success.‎

The results were as follows:‎
‎•‎ First Place: Team 5B (Girls)‎
‎•‎ Second Place: Team 4B (Girls)‎
‎•‎ Third Place: Team 3B (Boys)‎

The final was attended by a number of instructors from the classes that participated in the ‎competition. The event was also attended by the Head of the Language Teaching Department, Mr. ‎Noah Shoosha, and the department’s representative, Mr. Mohammed Al-Mahfadi. Both ‎expressed their pride in the advanced level demonstrated by the students and affirmed the ‎department’s commitment to supporting such distinguished educational activities.‎

The event concluded with the Center’s Director honoring the instructors, students, and ‎coordinators in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of the competition, ‎which added a celebratory character to the event, reflecting a spirit of appreciation and motivation.‎

The Center’s Director affirmed that these competitions, which have been well-received by both ‎students and teaching staff at the Center, will continue in future semesters. The aim is to develop ‎students’ skills, nurture their talents, and foster a spirit of excellence and positive competition in ‎line with modern teaching methods.‎
