Sana’a University’s Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching Participates in Career Day Event at University of Modern Sciences

In line with the Center’s 2025 executive plan concerning community engagement and mutual cooperation with other Yemeni universities, and to link the Center’s outputs with the labor market, the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) participated in the Career Day event organized by the University of Modern Sciences University (UMS) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
The event saw the participation of numerous companies, institutions, and service centers. Its goal was to simulate the labor market environment and provide students with practical experience to help them understand labor market requirements and enhance their professional skills. This initiative aims to produce graduates capable of meeting community needs and keeping pace with the recent developments demanded by the local and external job markets.
In this occasion, CCTLT represented Sana’a University’s role in community service by actively conducting direct meetings and interviews with students participating in the English Language and Translation programs. These sessions were used to assess students’ abilities and skills in the fields of translation and language learning and to inform them of the professional skills necessary for graduates of these programs to meet labor market demands.
CCTLT was represented in the event by Mr. Abdulkarim Al-Habeet from the Department of Translation and Applications and Mr. Abdullah Al-Nadhari from the Department of Language Teaching.
During the event, the Center’s team presented promotional offers for the training programs, activities, and services provided by CCTLT. They urged the participating students to join these training programs to develop their professional skills in translation and language teaching, underscoring the Center’s prominent role as a distinguished academic and service institution with highly-qualified experts and academics committed to advancing the translation and language teaching movement at the local and global levels.
