CCTLT Administrative Council Holds First Regular Meeting for Academic Year 2026/1447 Hijri

The Administrative Council of the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University held its first regular meeting for the academic year 2026/1447 Hijri. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Director of the Center, with the participation of Deputy Director Dr. Yahya Ubaid, the Center’s advisors, heads of academic departments, directors of administrative units, and representatives of foreign language teaching units.
The meeting began with a review and approval of the previous session minutes, followed by discussions of progress reports submitted by departments and units. These reports included performance indicators and level of approved plan and program implementation, as well as issues related to students and the educational and service activities of the Center.

The Council addressed the completion of automation procedures for the Language Teaching Department’s programs and approved updated templates for certificates of new programs and courses, thereby enhancing the development of the educational process and improving the quality of outputs. It also endorsed the implementation plan for language courses and training programs scheduled during the month of Ramadan, along with mechanisms for promoting them to ensure accessibility to beneficiaries.
The meeting further discussed challenges related to the maintenance of the Center’s buildings and facilities, and a set of decisions was adopted to be submitted to the University Presidency for resolution within available resources.
At the end of the meeting, the Council emphasized the importance of consolidating institutional work and strengthening coordination among departments and units, in order to improve the Center’s performance and achieve its academic and administrative objectives.
