Revising and Editing Unit
The Revising and Editing Unit was established at the CCTLT in 2020. This Unit is fundamental to upholding the quality and accuracy of the language outputs and official documents issued by the Center. It plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of translated texts according to high standards of linguistic and professional accuracy.
This Unit serves as a strategic partner to the Translation Unit in maintaining the Center’s image and reputation, ensuring that each translated word reflects our commitment to accuracy and professionalism. We strive to meet the highest quality standards in every document we review—from reports, articles, contracts, marketing, and business materials to research proposals, academic theses, books, and scientific journals. Our specialized team meticulously edits and refines each text, ensuring it adheres to the best linguistic standards and effectively communicates the Center’s mission and commitment to community service.
Additionally, this Unit puts great emphasis on enhancing translators’ skills in post-editing and proofreading by offering specialized, high-quality training programs, that contribute to improving their professional competence. We believe that the Revising and Editing Unit is not merely an auxiliary supportive department but an essential partner in achieving institutional success and excellence. The Unit seeks to ensure that all language outputs meet the highest standards of quality, precision, and professionalism, thereby elevating our institutional performance to align with the Center’s mission, goals, and aspirations.
