Sana’a University CCTLT’s Board of Directors Holds 2nd Regular Meeting for Academic Year 2025

The Board of Directors of the Community Center for Translation & Language Teaching (CCTLT) at Sana’a University convened its 2nd regular meeting for the academic year 2025/1447 AH. The session was chaired by Prof. Zaid Ali Hasan Al-Warith, the University Rector’s Assistant for Centers Affairs, representing the Center’s Board Chairman, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, the University Rector.
The meeting was attended by the Center Director, Assoc. Prof. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Deputy Director, Dr. Yahya Obaid, heads of departments, representatives of foreign language programs, and postgraduate studies coordinators. The session began with a review and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting.
During the meeting, the Board discussed several key agenda items, including postgraduate matters related to the Master’s program in Translation. Decisions were made regarding thesis topic approvals and the formation of viva voce committees for several students. Furthermore, the Board addressed issues concerning the Language Teaching Department, the Translation Unit, and student affairs, issuing appropriate resolutions accordingly.
