The Department of Prosthodontics seeks to prepare and qualify high-caliber dental graduates capable of providing distinguished oral healthcare at international standards in diagnosis, treatment modalities, and relevant surgical interventions. It aims to foster an educational, academic, clinical, and research environment aligned with local and regional quality assurance, accreditation standards, and community service.
1. Preparing professional and academic cadres in the field of prosthodontics and equipping them with diverse knowledge, sciences, and skills.

A three-year clinical master's program encompassing comprehensive theoretical, clinical, and research modules. Designed to meet the growing local and regional demand for advanced prosthodontic care, the program equips dental graduates with specialized skills in both fixed and removable prosthodontics. Candidates undergo rigorous clinical training and are mentored by qualified academic staff to conduct scientific research and complete a graduation thesis, preparing them to serve the community competently.
Preparing graduate students to competently deliver advanced fixed and removable prosthodontic care through integrated teaching, research activities, and clinical practice within a challenging learning environment that fosters diversity of thought and a strict commitment to ethical and scientific standards.

The Ph.D. program in Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Sana'a University, is the pioneering program of its kind in Yemen. The Faculty and Department instituted this program in alignment with their strategic development and quality improvement plans, as well as in response to the growing demand from master’s degree holders seeking advanced higher education. The program is designed to enhance candidates' capabilities in scientific research methodologies, academic paradigms, and clinical trials, equipping them to become leading consultants in prosthodontics or to pursue distinguished careers in university-level dental education.
