Bachelor of Electrical Power and Machines Engineering- Bachelor of Communications and Networks Engineering- Bachelor of Computer and Control Engineering

The department aims to prepare qualified engineers in the field of electrical power engineering, capable of planning, designing, and operating electrical power systems, with emphasis on emerging technologies and their integration into modern power grids.

Mission

Preparing qualified engineers in the fields of electrical power, communications, and computer engineering in accordance with programs committed to international quality standards.

Aims

1. Preparing competent engineers in electrical power, communications, and computer engineering who can compete at both national and regional levels.
2. Updating undergraduate and postgraduate programs and elevating their applied curricula and research environment to contribute to national development.
3. Establishing partnerships with both the public and private sectors, and providing engineering consultancies, continuous training, education, and awareness programs.
4. Improving the faculty-to-student ratio in accordance with established standards.
5. Bridging the gap in the number of assistant staff and laboratory technicians and implementing training programs that enhance their skills.
6. Commitment to and adherence to high ethical and professional behavior in the teaching and practice of engineering.

Master of Electrical Power Engineering

Electrical Power Engineering is important for the development of all countries, especially Yemen. This Master's Program aims to provide candidates with advanced knowledge and skills for planning, design, and operation of electrical power systems with emphasis on emerging technologies and their integration into new and existing power systems.

Vision

To graduate distinguished Master's holders in the field of electrical power engineering through a strong academic program, qualified staff, and suitable research infrastructure that meet local development requirements and labor market needs.

Aims

1. To provide specialized studies and encourage fundamental and applied research in different electrical power engineering disciplines.
2. To bridge the gap between the academic educational and industrial and technological environment.
3. To develop and improve the academic and educational level at the Faculty of Engineering in the field of electrical power engineering.
4. To provide graduates with up-to-date advanced knowledge and skills needed to attain excellence in solving technical problems and facing challenges in the electrical power engineering field.
5. To graduate researchers in electrical power engineering disciplines who can pursue further studies and contribute to the scientific research community.
6. To provide graduates able to effectively contribute to the electrical power engineering profession by applying ethical practices and communication skills, sharing innovative and clear ideas, and pursuing further education through lifelong learning.

Master of Communications and Networks Engineering

The program provides advanced instruction and research opportunities in a broad range of Communication Systems and Networks Engineering areas and is focused on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the state-of-the-art in Communications and Networking Engineering.

To advance knowledge and educate engineers who will make the world a better place by using the power of engineering principles, techniques, and systems.

Mission

Graduate qualified engineers in Electric Power, Communication and Computer Engineering in accordance with programs committed to the international quality standards.

Aims

1. Develop advanced knowledge and broad understanding of the principles and methodologies of communications and networks engineering.
2. Apply their knowledge to design, investigate and solve complex problems in the areas of communication systems and networking.
3. Promote scientific and applied research, particularly that which is related to the development of local Telecommunications companies.
4. Develop their independent learning skills as required for continued professional development.
5. Develop high-level oral and written communication skills specific to the needs of the communication systems industry and network engineering.

Master of Computer and Control Engineering

The Master of Science in Computer Engineering and Control is an innovative engineering program that provides advanced knowledge and skills necessary to integrate advanced concepts in Computer Engineering/Science and Intelligent Control Systems into the development of appropriate solutions to current research problems and sustainable development requirements.

Vision

To graduate eminent master's engineers in computer engineering & control and field research through a highly qualified academic program, suitable infrastructure, and highly qualified staff that meet the development requirements as well as local and regional labor markets.

1. To provide specialized studies and encourage fundamental and applied research in different computer engineering and control disciplines.
